Although a number of projects were underway, Manulife Financial
was our only client with a delivery this period. However, this was a very
significant delivery for both Manulife and Novinsoft as it is a milestone
for our Web Illustration Architecture.
Manulife’s objective was to prove, through the development, testing and
benchmarking of a web-based Term illustration system Proof of Concept,
Novinsoft’s value proposition on their own terms; to gauge infrastructure
costs required to provide desired performance; and to understand and
influence our architectural decisions, and certify their business partners.
The Proof of Concept was deemed a success; as it was proven that Novinsoft’s
Desktop/Web Solution can form the basis of a production New Business
Illustration System for Manulife.
Alan Bett, Assistant Vice-President, Individual Insurance Systems, presented
a case study of the Manulife POC at the Novinsoft Annual Meeting on
September 16.
