Manulife Financial Individual Life Operations released Version 7.0 of the Manulife Product Illustration System. This latest version included:

- UL enhancements such as; YRT improvements, lower T10 and T20 rider rates, simplified commission
- Lower Term product rates
- A new 20 Year Renewable Coverage Option for the Lifecheque CI product
- A new Child Protection Rider for the LifeWise Par product

AIG Life of Canada released version 12.0 of the WAVE Illustration System. Enhancements included:

- a new Low Fees Option in UL, with low fee investment portfolios
- the new UL Life Fund Accelerator; a new plan for maximizing early Cash values and the “super-charged” early Guaranteed Investment Bonus
- the new CI Living Benefits 20 product including six new coverage options

AXA Assurance released version 2.2 of their Illustration Software. Enhancements included reduced YRT COI rates in UL, updated historical investment rates plus enhancements to the Mortgage Insurance and DI Insurance products.

Equitable Life released a minor update with changes to their Dividends on Deposit for the Equimax Par product. Bigger things are in the works.
