Sales Concepts and Needs Analysis figured largely in our efforts for July and
August.
The Legacy Software release for Assante Corporation was
an interesting project and could very well be the way of the future for
insurance sales distribution.
The Legacy Software System provides a common point-of-sale interface for all
Assante Advisors to all of their preferred insurance carriers.
They can now choose from any of three sales concepts - Wealth Transfer,
Wealth Accumulation, or Wealth Preservation. With these concepts
the Assante Advisors can use any of the 8 Universal Life product
Illustration Systems from 6 different companies fully linked to the Assante
sales concepts.
The Legacy Software System also includes Novinsoft's Family Needs
Analysis system for analyzing client immediate capital needs at death
and survivor income needs.
Assante Corporation plans to add another couple of insurance carrier UL
products in the next release.
To coincide with the release of the Assante Legacy Software AIG Life
added a new Universal Life series (Legacy) to their Illustration System. This was specifically developed for Assante. AIG also took advantage of this
release to add other features and a new Term products to their Wave Illustration
system.
 NN Life and
Transamerica Life were busy with marketing concepts
as well. Novinsoft added 3 new Charitable Giving concepts to the
Universal Life areas of their Illustration Systems including the Bequest
Strategy, and the Equities Strategy. We also added a new
Term Product for both companies.
We also released Version 2.0 of the Novinsoft Business
Insurance Analyst (BIA) product. The BIA is a tool for determining the
Life Insurance needs of Business owners and includes analyses and supporting
material for Business Valuation, Unfunded Buy-Sell, Capital Gains, and Key
Person.
Version 2.0 includes a brand new much easier-to-use tabbed interface,
improved reports (using Adobe Acrobat PDF reports), and allows the broker/agent
to save all client analyses.
