May and June were relatively quiet months, as early summer often is in the Financial Services industry.

• CT Financial Assurance, however, kept busy by continuing to improve upon their Universal Life Illustration System. A new Sales Concept was added; an existing Sales Concept was significantly enhanced; and a number of improvements were added to the system in general.
  
• Novinsoft is also pleased to welcome Union Vie Mutual Assurance as our latest client company. We are working with Union Vie to develop a Universal Life Illustration System.
  
• The Novinsoft In-force Illustration System meeting was held on June 23rd, hosted by Norwich Union. We met with a few client companies to present our approach for providing CLHIA compliant In-force Illustrations. (Our approach does not necessitate Novinsoft being the developer of the new business Illustration System.)

Wayne Miller of Sun Life, and a member of the Joint CLHIA – CAIFA Illustrations Working Group that developed the guidelines, presented a summary of these Guidelines and answered a number of questions from the group.

Our approach was well received. The company representatives attending provided Novinsoft with excellent feedback that has helped us to fine-tune our design. Being compliant by March 1, 2001 is a significant project for both Novinsoft and our client companies. It should be fun.

Late Summer and Fall will be very active as a number of companies start the race to Fall deliveries of new versions of their systems.
