LATE BREAKING NEWS!

Canada Trust Group Services recently won the very high profile and competitive Benefits Canada Education Awards for the best educational software product.

The Progressive Partnerships software developed with Novinsoft Inc.hit First Place making it the best in the country for this category.

The consumer-level modules included Directions Retirement Planning modules, the Investment Planner, and RSP vs Mortgage. It was selected by an independent group of Canadians who viewed the educational offerings of plan sponsors across the country and the products they use through their suppliers and consultants.

CT Group Services will be receiving their award at the CPBI President's dinner from Benefits Canada in front of 700 industry delegates.

Mary DiSpalatro, Director, Product Development Marketing at Canada Trust says "The software has evolved over the last three years and we can now say that it has hit high in terms of its acceptance and value to plan participants."

As always, our clients continue to upgrade and expand on their various applications. Over the last 2 months:

  • CT Financial Assurance added another new Sales Concept to their Universal Life Illustration System. The insurance concept is based on protecting the principal in a Retirement Savings Plan.

This now brings our total to 37 Sales Concept/Needs Analysis modules developed for 9 different companies.
  • The Canadian Securities Institute is now ready to introduce a French version of their computer-based testing module for students studying for their Canadian Securities License. Students can answer a variety of question types, be scored, provided with feedback, etc.

    Multi-lingual systems are no problem.
  • Norwich Union delivered a number of improvements to their Universal Life product and Illustration System features.
  • Stephen Parrott, FLMI, ACS, Marketing Manager at Norwich wrote to us with the following kind words.

"Your team's knowledge of Universal Life and the pitfalls in illustration systems allowed us to introduce this product line to the marketplace given the very strict deadlines that we had to meet."

"Since the introduction of the software in January, we have received nothing but compliments on the design and simplicity of the software. A great tribute to Novinsoft's work!"

Shucks.

  • And, as a result of our continuing R&D efforts, our new web-based Illustration System is ready for prime time.

You can have a look at our demo from the Product and Services area of this site.

Coming attractions

  • Our new Universal Life Illustration System for the Internet and Intranets.
  • More Illustration System enhancements for other clients.
  • The French version of our Family Needs Analysis packaged software.
